I'm thinking about starting a blog to record progress of my new horsey - I deactivated my facebook account as was too distracting and a few people have mentioned that they miss seeing updates and photos of him and I know my parents would love it and they don't have facebook.

Can anyone recommend a site - I've had a quick look and there are loads!

I've used blogspot for over 5 years with no complaints. Not used any others to comare it to though.

Wordpress is fab. I moved over from Blogspot because I found it so much simpler to use. You can even post from the mobile app.

free, easy,
don't need any technical know-how
but can get more sophisticated if you clue-up on some basic HTML
and ranks well in search engines

thanks for the replies! I chose wordpress in the end. Im loving the idea of it. means everyone can keep up to date and I don't have to keep repeating the same stories and mailing photos around also the android phone app seems great.
