I'm sure this is probably common sense, but here goes:

Belle was shod on Tue and walked out to the field and back absolutely fine, same wed, was on livery yesterday so I didn't see her, but today when I went in her stable she seemed a bit reluctant to put weight on her back leg, and when I looked closely at the shoe there seems to be some blood where the clenches are. The other back foot looked the same, and she was working herself a bit when the farrier was doing them but I thought it was because she had ben stabled for a while and was stiff.

Anyway, I couldn't trot her up, or even walk her out due to a foot and half of snow and ice, but I picked them out and she stood fine, and she seemed to be fine puting weight on them and walked around her stable a couple of times with no sign of them being painful.

Should I be worried?

Thanks

If you are sure its not just the natural colour of the hoof i would ring your farrier and check even if you are just a bit worried. Doesnt matter if you sound stupid to him at least you would have peice of mind - doesnt sound like anything i have heard of though

Well, she's got white feet and there's definitely some red colouring. OH disagrees that it's blood and the horn is cracked so it could be that discolouring it.

Maybe I'm over reacting, it happens a lot

Well, just a thought but my pony has white feet and when he has just been shod the hoof horn around where the nails are, turns a sort of dark orangey colour. If you are worried though, as snowysadude said ask your farrier.
