Blood and trach wash results - what do they mean?

Had my mare blood tested and trach wash as she has been so flat for a month now. Just not herself at all. In a way very relieved that the vet felt she was showing signs of a virus, however I was wondering how her results compare to 'normal' results. Of all the things my horses have given me experience of in the past, I've always managed to dodge viruses!

White blood count was 4 (vet said should be 6-12)
Neutrophil:Lymphocyte ratio 1:1 (vet said should be closer to 2:1)

Trach wash showed 30% neutrophils (vet said should be 20%)

Anyone who has had experience of viral horses - keen to know how 'bad' these results are; how bad she is feeling? How long can I expect it to take for her to pick up?

Also are there any tonics that actually work?

Thanks in advance!
