i have a lovely 25yr old mare owned for 21 years. Seems well teeth all okay just wondering if its worth spending out 50.00 having a general blood test done to make sure everything is functioning okay like kidneys, liver and protein levels in the gut. what do you think, its not a huge amount of money and with the winter round the corner and the vet at yard tomorrow anyway. thank you all.

We used to offer and annual health check to clients. Faecal worm count, blood test, tooth rasp and vaccinations as well as general health check and discussion about the horses condition. It is a great way to monitor the health particularly of the older horse and pick up any potential problems early.
