went showjumping last night in preperation for sunday at tweseldown, seen the weather report, looks like it will run, got pony on from field this morning and hopping lame! looks like he has an abcess in his foot, farrier out this morning, had good dig around but nothing, so guess i'll just have to wait. am so gutted, haven't run since mattingley and now with the weather perking up it makes it all the worse! sorry for banging on but feeling sorry for myself today!

It may still not run - may get a note up tonight saying cancelled which might cheer you up!

Horses are so frustrating dont they realise there are bad times for these things to happen!

i always hot tub mine at first sign of abcess, can bring it to a head much quicker and gives lots of relief, might help to find if it is an abcess!

the same happened to me i was supposed to be going to a show this weekend and ellie went lame and foot sore and now she is fine but it cancelled anyway
