I have had in excess of 20 calls from my clients wanting to board their mutts in the space of one week whilst trying to bake in the sun
grin.gif
..............and I have picked 2 boarders up this afternoon, after a desperate txt, whilst waiting for my delayed flight at the other end
crazy.gif
I only landed back at 5am

Speaking as a half-Irish ginga person who used to live in lovely sunny Italy (but is genetically meant for rainy places)... I have three sunburn related words for you.

Aloe vera gel my friend - aloe vera gel.

Since I got back, I have not stopped, OH went to check horse, wilst I settled dogs back in and collected boarders, the holiday was fab, would have been better, had I not been running a business during it

My sun burn is very bad, one part in particular gives cause for concern, it looks like someone has held a flame to my skin and burnt me

I was suprised as im very dark aired and pretty olive skinned, but I never expose myself at all apart from my arms, so I think thats where I have suffered.

I did indeed take some aloe vera gel, a very expensice type, wicch I borrowed from work, but suprisingly, it stings like holy hell, it's like an open wound and looks very raw
frown.gif
it's so bad
crazy.gif
the aloe vera worked for everywhere else tough, jsut not this one horrible bit, it looks really bad, my mam was very shocked when she saw it today
crazy.gif

Yeowch that sounds nasty hun

If you're worried and it's hurting I would give your GP or NHS Direct a call as there might be something better that you can get over the counter to soothe it?

Try Germoline and cover it if you can to keep the cream on. It may be slightly infected. Burns can be really nasty.
I'm amazed you survived your welcome home greeting as you have so many dogs. I usually get trampled by just 3!!

I have been contemplaiting a Dr app for Monday if it does not settle, it happened the first day of holiday a week ago

, but it's still very saw, and cannot move comfortably without it stretching the skin and hurting like hell.
I was thinking calamine lotion to sooth it, but I think I need something to keep it moist and CL would make it dryer, may have to go to work and try some Gelonet or something.
It's a patch on my chest, where by breast meets my chest

Keep putting the aloe on - even the bad bit - as it will help. Just grit your teeth to get through the tingling.
