You cannot get any replacement parts at all for the newer range of weatherbeeta rugs. It's ridiculous!

I bought toby a VERY expensive Tristar rug a couple of months ago and he's managed to loose the neck rug (ripped to shreds I think by his field mates).

Couldn't find a replacement online so asked the local tack shop to contact weatherbeeta (no contact details for them either!) and you can only buy the rugs complete - you can't get any bits seperately.

So word of warning: if you've bought a weatherbeeta detacha-neck rug and need a new neckpiece you're screwed.

Oh, and if you want to complain to them you're also screwed - the only contact details are an address in oxfordshire.

Thats rubbish!! My horse is a thug and also wrecks his rugs!! CAn you not get a different brand of neck cover to attach to rug, thats what I have done with previous rugs!! It may not match but its cheaper than buying a new rug!!

I believe their headquarters are in Banbury which is in Oxon. Try writing a letter addressed to the Managing Director - that usually seems to be the best way to get a response from a large company.

That is if you can get the detachanecks to stay on! Friend has one, it has 2 zips with velcro too and most days the hood is hanging off after him being out.

The premier equine ones fit, I've done a swap over between my rugs. Saying that I don't know if you can buy PE necks seperately so prob no help!

You can indeed get PE neck rugs seperately, and can choose the amount of fill you want in them... as I discovered when i bought a Rambo Duo- fab rug, but the neck cover wouldn't have fitted a shetland, let alone a horse, and I refused to pay £45+ to replace it with a bigger Rambo one... PE one not only fits, it's better IMHO!

God's I couodn't find this thread again!

Anyways, thanks for the numbers for complain - that's my next port of call once I have time!

As for the PE necks - that was going to be my next question! And even better if they come in different weights -the WB are nofill, which isn't great for wimpy horses.
