Bloomin' heck, what a jump!

I'll never understand the permanent focus on the negative on this forum.

The pony is not being forced over it - it could easily run out or stop if he felt overfaced as there are no barriers to keep him straight to the fence.

He is keen and clearly enjoying it.

Yes it's a very big jump, but I highly doubt they jump him that big on a regular basis - perhaps they do but there is no reason to assume so.

I would also imagine that it is less hard on his joints than jumping say a course of 1.10/1.15 with a rider on board, and yet 128cm jumping ponies seem to cope admirably with this task and go on for years and years.

Personally I think its amazing - very impressive pony.:)

If you read the comments on youtube the owners say they have only jumped him this big a couple of times.

When my horse was younger I loose jumped him over 4ft and a woman at the yard had a right go at me and told me I had ruined his legs forever. When I sold him a few years later the vet that vetted him said he had the cleanest legs he had ever seen!

wow!!!!

I am SO jealous!!

Trying to convince my 13.2 5 year old that jumping is fun - have been attempting to loose jump him and struggle to get him over 2 foot using barriers!

Cant believe that little one loves it so much he will jump something like that out of choice with no jumping lane/barriers or anything!

:)
