Wind is the only thing that makes my TB a bit spooky. Leaves, paper bags. general rubbish left lying around that blows up just as we are walking past
Tbh it puts me off riding a bit, just sat here debating whether to risk it today, have to ride round several twisty bends and I can almost guarantee he will jump at a leaf just as someone flies up behind me in their car. Shame, cos its a beautiful day but I wish the wind would drop a bit.
We're OK with those marauding packs of leaves that start scurrying towards us down the road or track but it's those evil leaves still attached to plants that when the wind blows lift up and show their true colours of their underside which are utterly terrifying!
My thoughts exactly! It's still really windy here and after yesterdays antics I think I will give it a miss. My mare is totally unfazed by traffic but will happily jump into the path of a double decker bus if a herd of leaves chase her.
Had same problem with the monster leaves and the horse swallowing puddles for the past 2 days!!!! The start of things to come!!! I can't ride in the evenings from today so had no choice but to go riding and risk getting eaten by the leaves and puddles!!!
