Bloomin Shavings In MY eye ouchie....

Bloomin playing with the foal tonight and he managed to blow shavings in my eye...don't ask me how but my eye feels ever so sore and keep finding stuff in the corner of my eye so hopefully its clearing....but god its irritating!!

its probably scratched the lens, run under luke warm water helps

ouch! If it's not feeling better you may have to get yourself to the optician/eye casualty to have it checked. From my previous experiences of getting stuff in my eye (had to go to A&E twice in 6 months...) you don't want to leave anything wood based stuck in your eye for very long as it decays and can cause an infection.

Thanks guys will try the lukewarm water...have washed out with optrex it hurt lots

but atm I have a really red bloodshot looking eye...looks like a week off work

I'm a colourist if my eyes shot there's not much use being there

tap water is NOT sterile, I wouldn't think it would be the best plan to wash it out with that

Seriously, get it checked.

Euuggh now I'm worried hoping tomorrow morning will wake up with a load of gunk and will be sorted...will take on board your advice

Pads scratched my eye the other week I had 4 scratches on my lens and had to go to the hospital for it to be checked out - local anesthetic, orange dye and fainting situ and I came out with an eye cream o sort it out - best to get it cheked if its not ok in the morning x
