Blooming Heck we did it

We clipped my boy this morning. Honestly this is sssooo much harder than you think! He is terrified and his eyes pop out of his head and he will not stand still, we have tried everything and yes, sedation (both types - paste and IV). Today we did it with patience, positive reinforcement and a buddy horse. I am so proud of him, I was actually dare I say it, a little emotional! It is only a belly and neck clip but brilliant none the less. Thanks to all involved x

I don't clip mine at all, as they live out and only get worked lightly at the weekends in winter - but I must admit that if I did decide to clip for the first time, I'd probably be terrified of making a hash of it too.

Still, there's a first time for everyone and everything (and on this one you've definitely beaten me to it!)
