Lunged baby tonight in pessoa, got him going nicely and then let him off whilst I set up jumps to lunge jump. Down he went for a roll, grand until the plonker, in the entire sandschool got down beside the fence and put his back leg through!
Got himself up with minimal fuss then stood there hanging the leg, whilst I got the headcollar he started walking, stiffly then better and no obvious injuries, he seemed ok trotting up.
BUT he is getting viewed tomorrow...arrgh! I'm betting it will be swollen/hot/etc... And he has been soppy today, really behaving as we bought a nice little rope halter (Deserves a post of its own..) and he likes it.
So vibes for sound happy horse tomorrow..

aww poor you! lol but i bet its because he knows he is being viewed tomorrow and he dosent want to leave you and his home

I looked after a mare last year that the owners had bred and owned for 16 years - the day she was due to be viewed she went lame for the first time ever!!
