Anyopne else currently being drowned???

I am now sitting watching the 3rd lot of thunder/lighting/heavy rains of the day and was awake all night listening to it!!!

Not a happy chappy my streets like a river!!!

Glad my guys are in as Eowyns Summer sheet was soaked onto her skin with all the rain we have had!! It would ahve been back to winter rugs out in that :o
 
Yes same here!!! My friends laughed at me this morning when I turned out in a lightweight turnout and told me I was too soft... I considered taking it off but glad I kept to my guns because otherwise he'd have been drunked and I'd have been feeling very guilty..

Plus!!! I'd have a black horse to clean tonight :D
 
Brought the girls in today but run out of haylage so had to put them back out, didn't expect to have to bring them in mid July!!!!! ! Had to dry them off and put medium turnouts on as the lightweights leak! Bloody weather!

It's like a monsoon here in Devon too. I went SJ today (had to, had nerves to conquer!) and the start was delayed for some time as jumps were being blown down in the torrents & gales.

I could ring my bra out when I finished & my stud box filled up with water whilst I was putting studs in.

The horse trailered next to me was in a heavyweight Rambo with a fleece underneath - did no-one tell nature it's JULY??
