I took the Ginger One to his first x country competition yesterday. He has done a bit of x country but not a competition. All was going well and he was nice and forward. Got around to a jump which was like a wooden bed with head board ! This fence just happend to be near two giant tractor tyres sticking out of the ground on a jump right next to it. The poor Ginger ones eyes popped out of his head when got near the tyres lol and shyed away from the tyres hence missing my fence. Any hooow I calmly brought him back round very controlled and he jumped it, with one eye on the tyres. So a few faults for me but never mind. I waited to see my time as he went around really well. The time set was 384 and we done 370 so all in all not bad atall me thinks !! Have you had any mishaps out there ?
