Well Done Blossy! I'm so pleased that everything has gone so smoothly, and what a handsome boy he looks.

If its got to be a 'J' name it can only be James!

fantastic, that was just the news I was hoping to read when I logged on. I like Jupe as a stable name too, and Joey is very cute too. Pleased you'll be able to finally get to bed tonight, feels like we've all been waiting for Blossy to foal for months!
 
Congratulations he looks lovely! I love his posh name think i would call him joop think its quite cute. Cant wait to be overloaded with photos i am very broody for a foal so love gushing over pics of other peoples.

As for Js....I like JJ, Jenson, Jet, Jury, Jiggy, Job (as in rhymes with Toad, not Bob), Jickle, Jedi - ohhh I REALLY like Jedi (but I am a Star Wars freak)....Justy, I could go on but I will stop now!

Congratulations. He looks to be a little cracker. I think you should call him Jupiter or Joop. Joey makes me think of idiots or kangaroo's and we had a horse called Kanga because he spent most of his time on his 2 back legs, boxing with the front ones like a kangaroo! I don't think you want to be encouraging baby bloss to do that!

hi everyone - sorry i cant reply to all your posts - i didnt realise there would be so many!!!! Just uploading some piccies of the little man - thank you everyone for the name suggestions. He is now officially called Jup (obviuosly short for Jupiter!).

For anyone who is interested when the vet came he was unsure what the lump was, he said it wasnt a twin, it wasnt food, it wasnt salt - but he did say it was facinating and has taken it with him as he wants to examine it!!! He said its definately nothing to worry about tho
