well lots of people have white lined dressage bridles, IMO dont see a problem!

Also why do dressage people use white saddlecloths all the time? Why not any other colour lol

Personally dont like them Dont think there is anything in the rules to say you cant....

Re. Saddle clothes, you can use any dark or plain coloured cloth, but white looks so much smarter IMHO!!

Hmm, fair enough, but i think the whole appearance of using a white saddleclothe is so much smarter than a numnah. I use one for all three phases, but thats just my preference

I think darker colours can look just as smart, but prefer saddleclothes either way

If you choose the right size and cut of saddleclothe they shouldnt "obscure" the horse at all

Hmmm - I asked a friend who is a BD dressage judge the same question and she said not to chance it. We looked at the rule book - can't remember quite what it said - Christmas eve - a few glasses of wine etc - but looks like the judge has some discretion. It was in bold and I am sure it said something about being discrete or something. Rossette bits at the side were not allowed! My friend once got eliminated in a BD test for gloves that had a subtle pattern - she would have won otherwise so just ghoes to show if you have a real nasty judge that doesn't like you it may not be worth it.
