Anyone use it? Is it good?

My horse is really well behaved but he gets easily stressed out in certain situations and i just think maybe something like this would help?! He isn't a problem i just don't like to see him stressing.

I use it on mine and definitely find it makes a difference. I wouldn't say its taken his stresses away altogether, but he's definitely calmer and generally less spooky. Actually after the last bottle I started to question whether it was really still working, so I took him off it - boy did I know about it :-)

But...as anyone will tell you, it is largely a mag ox supplement which will only be of benefit if your horse is actually magnesium deficient. However, Blue Chip Karma does also contain l-trypophan which, I believe, is meant to stimulate the production of seratonin in the body which essentially induces a 'feel-good' factor.

Not cheap but worth a go.
 
Excellent stuff. It has certainly worked for a nutty little mare of mine... i have found her much more consistent to ride but she hasn't lost her sparkle, which i love!

Yeah i don't want to lose sparkle just help with the stress!

i felt it made a difference to my mare, i fed it regularly for a while when she went through a stressy period (mroe so than usual) and i also syringed it once the morning before a show and for once i managed to plait her up without being crushed/trodden on/beaten to a pulp, so i think it definately helped with her show excitement!
 
the best thing to use is 'bach's rescue remidy'. you can get it from sainsbury or tesco or sumthing like that. put about 10 drops on a piece of bread and feed it to your horse. give him 5minutes and he will be as relaxed as he would with blue chip.. to be honest it is actually much, much better! we give it 2 our pony when my little sister rides him... hes really fizzy and it totally calms him down... it absoultly great and CHEAP!! copy this and it will show you what it looks like, so you can look for it in your local supermarket or chemist...

BC Karma makes a huge difference to one of mine. He's very spooky without it but spooks almost gone with it. When he does get 'hyper' he calms down much quicker and is generally less stressy. It is quite pricey but certainly works amazingly well for my boy.
