Blue Chip orginal and feeding my boy?/?

my boy was very very underweight and still is (has gained though)

he is currently fed on
1 scoop mollichaff
half scoop build up cubes and
half scoop Coolstance Copra Meal
(and carrots too)

i know that isnt a lot, but it is enough for the amount of work he is doing and he is doing reasonably well on it and i dont want to risk him getting daft


he also gets ad lib hay and he has a stable lick.

i was just wondering if you would recommend adding some Blue Chip original as i know it gets all parts of the gut working which i think would be beneficial to him but im not sure how to feed it and is it heating?

also i was thinking of changing him onto haylage for that bit extra, do you think this would be beneficial and how much does it generally cost per roll?

he is 15.2hh and in light work (lightly schooled for about 20mins a day) and obviously i will up his feed as i start to do more with him but right now im just working on getting condition on him and getting him fit

Are you feeding twice daily?

For condition, energy and shine I feed Alfa A oil and Spillers slow release cubes....no starch in sight, just energy and condition......my lad is very sharp/spooky and this combo actually calmed him down.

I've had to reduce the amount he's been getting as he's at his optimum weight now- don't want him getting too bulky.....
