Does anyone feed it? Is it worth the cost & is it good for weight gain / condition?

Also - I've just bought a tub of pink powder as a pick me up as my boy is looking a bit poor at the moment - anyone else tried this and found it good?

Hi there,

I have never tried blue chip because I have had the most amazing results with pink powder. I can definitely say that my horse has improved 100% on pp and I think I will keep him on it forever now...

It's not just the fact that it has added condition but it seems to have dramatically improved his feet, digestion (used to have terrible bowels )

Plus, lots cheaper that blue chip

Star was on Blue Chip and Alfa A. Changed to Pink Powder and she wouldn't eat it. Now on Top Spec and loving her feed again.

When she was on cubes, and the feed was damp, she ate it! Think the taste of the cubes masked the PP.

Never tried Blue Chip but swear by Pink Powder. My TB(yes another one!) had awful tummy troubles for a while & looked shocking..I swear pink powder has resolved those troubles.
He keeps condition well & has a much more relaxed attitute to life.

I cant be sure what helped my mare put on condition and calm herself down, but since she has been on pink powder she is looking fantastic (and she was on box rest) she put on condition and her coat was soo shiny!

so try that first! plus if you get it from farm shop type places its cheaper!

i have used pink powder as a pick me up when pony looking a bit lacking in lustre. around jan/feb after being in for a while she tends to not look as sparkly as usual and just be a bit lacking. it definately picks her back up, gets the shine back on her coat etc.

i have used pp for years, and love it, have now changed off it to equilibra due to horse needing a different diet, but the pp was fab

I used for PP on my mare when she first came to me to help sort her guts out (very upset pony and guts!). She did well on it. We used to use blue chip many years ago for our ponies - but I always found with blue chip that I would feed less than the recommended amount, as it sent my lot a bit loopy.
They all looked fantastic - just a bit nutty while they were on it!

I fed Pink Powder to my TB when I first got him as he was skinny & lacked condition & spark. It didn't seem to make any difference which was a shame as I've only ever heard good things about it. I kept him on it for 6months but never saw an improvement.
I started feeding Blue Chip a few months ago & that made a huge difference. People were actually commenting on how well he looks.
