Blue chip pro & dynamic - thoughts please :-)

So I won some blue chip vouchers at their winter showjumping champs last week and I am deliberating whether to use them and if so for which product.....so I wandered if anyone who had used them could share their thoughts.

Typical marketing strategy, the vouchers can only be used individually in £10 therefore to use one you still have to fork out £30 yourself to buy one of their products! So I dont want to waste my money either on something that doesnt work or that I dont really need!

I have a 9yo KWPN showjumping at foxhunter. I currently use a different balancer, but was wandering how the blue chip pro compares the other cheaper alternatives, and reviews on whether it is any better?

The other product I considered trying is the blue chip dynamic. My horse is healthy and has no specific ailments but has previously been prone to occassionally getting a little stiff, and I have hard positive things about dynamic improving general mobility, aguility and performance in healthy sports horses.

Views/comments would be much appreciated!
 
I use the blue chip pro balancer and my 14yr old KWPN SJer does seem to do really well on it. However I have not yet compared it to other feed balancers so can't comment on whether it is better (I'll be trying top spec next as peeps on here seem to prefer it). I use it as it worked out cheaper than continuing with a hoof formula, yesacc and oils separately to balance out the damage from the barley. They do say that you need to feed less if you use blue chip as your horse will get more from their normal feed. I have not found this with either of our two horses, so don't bank on being able to save money on other feed. I went on it as I wanted to withdraw the barley and have less different pots and potions. If they were not just about to go out on grass FT I would be looking at trying additional feed to replace the barley such as micronised linseed or outshine as our 17.1hh 5yr old ISH has dropped weight. Both our horses to be fair have seemed to have better concentration on the blue chip and are less prone to OTT behaviour, and I don't credit this due to taking out the barley as they were like it before they went on the barley this winter. The blue chip is the only other change.

The joint RLF liquid we tried does seem to have the edge over the cortaflex and this applies to both horses so I will be sticking with this even though it is a little more expensive. It has got rid of the minor windgalls on one and suppressed a very mild shiv on the other. This could be a better use of your vouchers IMHO.
