I think so. It is stupidly expensive - due to advertiseing - but it does the job.
I have tried other things on my old mare but nothing suits her like Blue Chip.
I think so. I've never fed as much as they recommend - a double handful a day suits mine. I used to be sponsored by Topspec, they gave a year's supply away in Eventing one year, and we had to take my horse off it, he was a fizzy type anyway and it seemed to make him worse. I have heard people say the same about BC though, so I think it just depends on the horse.
I bought a bag for a TB that needed some building up - looked at website saw the before and after pics - spoke to the Blue Chip folks at Burghley and went out and bought a bag - TB wouldn't eat it! Ate everything else and left all the Blue Chip - expensive mistake. Next time I try something similar I will definitely try the manufacturer for a taster pack!
I wouldn't feed Blue Chip to my horses, ever. Too expensive for a start...
I've been using Equilibra for years, but I also rate Top-Spec and Lo-cal.
(Just call Equilibra to ask why Blue Chip isn't worth the money. The founder of Blue Chip is rolling in so much money, I wouldn't like to liable myself here and face the woman in court! Lol!)...
im sorry but I have to disagree, my pony has just started on blue chip pro, due to being told by a judge to get some more 'condition' on him. He has been on it a week and my god the difference already! His coat has a gleam to it, he has more energy, looks brighter and looks bulkier already. maybe it just works for mine then!!!!!
