The Blue Cross centre in Rolleston on Dove has got its summer open day this Saturday (24th) 1000-1500.

They have a brilliant second hand tack sale for everything that gets donated that they dont need.
At the Christmas one I came away with two turnout rugs (a light weight Weatherbeater and a medium weight Masta), a jeffreys running martingale, a girth, a saddle cloth, stirrup leathers and a brand new set of safety stirrup irons, oh an a high vis exercise sheet. Paid a bit more than they wanted (rounded it up) but guess how much the lot cost me?!?! £20!!!!!! Didn't even have to lie to the OH how much I'd spent!
So all you local bargain hunters get there early for the decent stuff as it's popular (but not so early you get the stuff that I want!!). It's also a really good day out.
Also, I think the Burford centre one is the next day and they've got a sale as well
