Just purely interested as I’ve never seen anything like it before. Not criticising, just looking to be educated.

What feed turns blue? I was sweeping an area which my horses walk through to get from stables to field and in a far corner of it another 2 liveries keep feed. There lay a bucket filled with what looked like a sugar/speedi beet type feed but on top of it was a skin which was wild turquoisey-blue colour. What could this be? Or has it gone bad? I’ve never seen beet go like that before.

I’ve had another look, it’s still there. I seen a clear box of blue powder at the back of their shelf though so I’m not sure what it is, not labeled. At least it’s meant to be in the beet. Still no idea what it is though.
