Blue Ribbon or Verdo?

As the title suggests really. I've been using Blue Ribbon pellets all winter for my 2 horses and cannot praise them enough. I'm running low and was offered a dozen Verdo bags from a friend. My boy is a dirty wotsit in his stable and where before I was topping him up with just 2 bags of BR a week with the verdo he's having a new bag put in every other day! I'm convinced the BR are much more absorbant. Any opinions please? Thanks

I'm sure you're right. I haven't used Blue Ribbon but Verdo are rank, and their dark colour doesn't help. I would stick to what you're happy with.

Thanks brightmount, and yes, the bed has taken on a much darker tinge, which looks beastly! Better the devil you know eh?

Verdo are horrid! They're the only ones we can but from the farm shop if running low, but I buy cat litter pellets if I'm getting low on Corley Biowood.

has anyone tried woodlets pellets they are £225 for 98 10k bags

Thanks 9tails, another black mark for Verdo it seems. I've been cursing my gelding for being such a beastly ****** lately, and it only occured to me this morning that it's not his fault it's the god dam change of pellets! Have you always used Corely?

I'm another who wouldn't recommend Verdo for the reasons already said!
