How was it?

I was entered but emailed the organiser to say I wouldn't be riding due to the weather conditions (as much for trailering as for riding).

Who went and how was it?

Hi, I didn't enter as my girl gets far too stressy but our yard is on Bluebell ride route and it was pretty muddy and wet out there yesterday. I think 1 in 4 pulled out from what I heard...x

My sharer took Merlin along with another girl on her 4 year old. It was both of there's first pony party and both were very well behaved.

Apparently the ground wasn't too bad and the sun came out for the second half of the ride so they were hot under their waterproofs :D

If anyone was there, mine was the wild looking black horse who didn't want to load on the way home :D

I went with a friend and my sister, my sisters pony is only four and it was his first sponsored ride.

We were the first people to go it was wet but not as bad as it had been. The ground was ok in some places but others were really boggie. Our horses were perfectly behaved.

They said around 400 people were due and only around 100 turned up. The field the trailers normally go in was water logged so everything was in the lorry field.

I nearly entered with my new horse, but we weren't really ready in the end. Good job really!
I did think that it would have been cancelled as the weather was so rotten.
