Bluebell walks!

It's big dog's tenth birthday today: I wanted to push myself so we drove to the woods for a 'proper' walk and I managed about 20 minutes, well worth it! The bluebells are out in force, we met a previously very DA lab who played nicely (couldn't keep up with my two ) and had a springer convention with a guy who breeds and has four!

Lovely pictures bluebells only just starting to show here but O H and dog have been walking through fields of cowslips and woods full of anemones today in Peak District.

Can't believe you are already walking for 20 minutes, well done. He doesn't look anything like 10 in that picture, he looks full of mischief.
The bluebells round here seem to have totally disappeared, I had lots on the dogs graves and they haven't flowered at all. Here's a token picture of Evie from a couple of years ago.

He's an angel, Brig, very human bonded, needs to be under my feet constantly, the type who would wander round the green outside but not go out of sight, unlike the youngsters who'd be off on an adventure!

The bluebells here spread like crazy, wonder what happened to yours?

Ha, I was shattered after the walk! I was too busy watching where my feet went to see much of the bluebells!

I think the bluebells must have drowned. The daffodils have been the same this year,lots of foliage but very few flowers.
