Boa boots and feathers

Anyone know if these would work for a hairy full feathered please? They are the only size big enough in UK for my lad.

Note, I'm not asking for a debate about hoof boots, barefoot vs shoeing etc

Yes, I have a very heavy feathered one that I've used boa boots on for hacking and not had any problems at all.
