Boast about your horses here!!

Today, Puzzle has done three wonderful things.

1. Let me lean on her back from above (I was stood on the fence!).
2. She trotted down the whole long side, TWICE, without trying to kill me! Clever girl! No rears, just a lush floaty trot. Yum yum =]
3. My OH put a coloured pole on the floor which Puzzle has never seen in her life before. We went up to it, had a sniff, then I walked over it and she walked over it. Gave it one hell of a bash the first time, but didn't freak, and we went round and did it twice more and both times she picked her feet up lovely. CLEVER PUZ!

Ok, your go!

My boy is really smart. He tells me when there is a new item that's been thrown in the skip by snorting and shooting backwards. Just think, I would have never realised I'd thrown that box in there had he'd not told me. Snort.

Mine didn't actually aim at anyone when she was waving her legs about at head height, all because the nasty Vet was putting a long straw up her nose. She didn't blink when he was taking bloods though:D

Jade, do your turkeys stay all winter? Ours seem to disappear.

Mine let me ride her for the first time in 4yrs! She was broken as a 3yr old in Germany and has done nowt since but have babies! I was feeling brave and had been lunging her for a couple of weeks so just decided to hop on. She was as good as gold and although very green, didn't put a foot wrong. I'm grinning like a cheshire cat just now!

I am not sure for certain what they do all winter tbh. I only began seeing them in hoards again recently though so they may well migrate. Guess I never thought about it.

My sandhill cranes (that do migrate) returned today though :) It was so odd when I heard them trumpet consdiering I only just posted about wanting them to return in SB yesterday :)

That really tells me spring is coming. we are getting dumped on with snow tonight again though...grrrrrr
