aww hunni, im so sorry. your post has really touched my heart and im crying. he will know how much you loved him and he will be watching over you. RIP Bobbie xx.
i hope hes up there now with my cheeky monkey cantering around lol. its hard isnt it hun. my boy was put down 2 years ago n i still think about him everyday, i wish i hadnt put him out on loan but i think ive learned from my mistakes. xx
I know a lot of people regret putting their ponies out on loan, for one reason or another. I maintain that I have no regrets about putting Bob out on loan.
He was a wonderful pony who would have been wasted in a field as a companion, and we were lucky to find families who just wanted to love him as much as we did. He had a further 9 years after we grew out of him where he was active and doing the things he loved. He took a nervous girl from walking round a field on lead rein to hunting up at the front with the best of them.
Just... If I had the time again I'd still put him on laon, but I would have brought him home in June rather than putting him on loan again.
aww hunni im glad you found nice families for bobbie to go to. my pony did go to some really nice people, i just wish i wouldnt of put him out on loan 2 years ago, i just feel guilty because i only put him on loan because i thought my back operation was going ahead but it didnt but thats another story. i know theres some really good loan families out there for horses and i hope i havent upset anyone, im just still dealing with it hun. im annoyed because the people that took on my pony never told me about the accident until 3 weeks later and then it was to late.
Bobbie sounds like a lovely sweet boy who brought you and other people alot of happiness, i am sorry for your loss hun. RIP Bobbie xxxx
