Bob's Diamond has a new jockey

Did anyone else see in H&H yesterday that Ben Maher now has the ride on Bob's Diamond ?

I know David McPherson has now moved to the Schockemohle yard but I was still surprised that he had lost the ride.

It seems that Ben is already forming a partnership with the horse though and has had a good GP placing abroad.

Yep I read this somewhere the other week.

Im really pleased for Ben as he does seem to get a tune out of most horses, and Bobs Diamond is reknowned for beign difficult.

Yep.. had heard about this. Ben is already getting a good tune out of Bob's Diamond so looks like a promising partnership. Good luck to him - he has some difficult horses but does a fantastic job with them none-the less.

Yeah I saw him with her at Towerlands.

I loe, love, love Bob's Diamond, but then that could be because she is related to my girly and is the spitting image, even down to the unruley mare bit! lol.

Speaking of Ben, did anyone watch his horse's nap last night at Olympia? Blimey, where did that come from!! Poor Ben!

Yes, I saw Bens horse rear up. Wasnt it scary? Ben coped really well though.

Oooo, I have just noticed that Ben is riding Bob's Diamond in the 1.60m class today at Olympia!
