Yet another body protector recommendation request due to old protector being out of date. However, due to daughter being short but with big boobs, it's not easy to find one that fits comfortably (if we could even find a shop that actually had a whole range of sizes to try on). Any other similar sized people out there? What do you have?

I'm short with big boobs, and have an Airowear Outlyne with a short back. When I got it the other options were a Rodney Powell or 2010, and neither were as comfortable when I tried them on.

I think the Airowear Outlyne is designed for "womanly" shapes. I wouldn't say I am huge, but definitely have boobs, and I have an Outlyne and it fits well. Other brands were a bit snug across the chest, although I can't now remember what I tried.

I'm average height with average boobs but I recommend the Aerowear Outlyne too.

I went to buy a Racesafe but when I tried it on it was so uncomfortable. The minute I put the Outlyne on I knew it was the one

I'm tall with the / large chest and it's airowear outlynr from me too. It comes in different body lengths so you can choose the most suitable one.

It has theadvantage of being the best. Sports bra. Ever! The girls aren't moving once your zipped up!a

Racesafe provent. I am short with a bust and the ladies fit in standard length is perfect, plenty short enough but they also do a short version. In all other bodyprotectors I need a short. It's not cheap but you hardly know u have it on (and I am a confirmed hater of bps )!

Airowear Outlyne - I'm short with big boobs for my frame and I find it comfortable and fits my shape nicely. Another option could be an air jacket?

Already has a air jacket but will need both to event. Looks like we need to look for an Outlyne then! She uses a Rodney Powell at the moment.

I tried the outlyne, fitted perfectly but much more restrictive and no where near as comfortable, was longer in back than racesafe provent too. No contest.

I'm short with big boobs.

I tried the Outlyne after having it recommended for my shape, it was a truly awful fit on me. It rode up and hit me on the ears and the back of my hat and was so stiff i could barely move, I couldn't have ridden in it.

I also tried the Racesafe, they didn't have any standard sizes that fitted and so I had one 'made to measure', another awful fit with pretty much the same problems as the Outlyne, fortunately they took it back as they had fitted it.

Then I tried the Dainese Balios 3 and finally got one that fits and I can move in!

I don't remember having such trouble last time I had a body protector, so I don't know if I've changed shape dramatically or if they are less forgiving than they used to be. My old Caldene fit perfectly and still does. The biggest problem with body protectors is that i couldn't find anywhere that stocked a decent range to go and try, so it was very difficult and time consuming to go and try them all on at different places.

This is going to be the big problem - finding somewhere that actually stocks different makes and sizes. When we were looking for an air vest we saw that a local place charged for fitting as they said people tried them on and then went online to buy (they didn't have a great selection anyway) We eventually went quite a way to a large place to get the choice.

I have a short back and love my Racesafe. Somehow I was fitted by the shop into a childs large size which is bizarre given I'm a size 12/14 in clothes (and quite tall!). But it does seem to fit nicely and is very comfy. I dont have your boob issue though, but you can loosen the laces all down each side so you could possibly undo enough to accomodate?
