I am looking to do a bit of cross country schooling the weekend after next and could do with a body protector. Being a bit "old skool" I have never worn, let alone owned, a body protector!!

Where is the best place to buy just a basic (cheap-ish) one from? I don't want to spend a fortune, as I'll probably only be trotting over the jumps and will probably never compete, so it'll only get used a few times. Is it safe to buy secondhand from Ebay, etc, or am I just asking for trouble?? Sorry for being dumb

then you can fit into the childrens XL size...and of course there cheaper than the adult sizes!!

I had mine fitted by my local saddler/tack shop too, they even said that the adult size would not of fitted me correctly as it would of interfered with the back of my saddle, so it was correctly fitted too.

you can get them in plain black or blue, mines really comfortable and of course they are up to required standard for XC.
