Body protectors for showjumping

Do many people wear body protector for showjumping?

Do you have it under or over your jacket.

Also, do you wear it when youre having a jumping lesson.

I always wear a BP for jumping, regardless of where I'm doing it

I do now but never used too. Mine definately wouldn't fit under my showing jacket but ive seen people wear the Racesafe ones under which are a bit less bulky.
