Does anyone make Body Protectors suitable for general riding which give a degree of protection but are a bit less bulky and more lightweight ?
I am a bit out of touch with whats new on the market.

i curretnly have an air-o-wear have had it for years and although i love it and it has sentinmental value i find it is restricting my riding abit it is hard to bend in over jumps and i find it very bulky
i am planning on investing in a racesafe at badminton this weekend as i have heard they are very good made to fit come oin arange of colors flexible and hardly bulky at all

everythign i am looking for.
i guess it is personal preferance.
from a safety view point
if you ever had a awful accident [hopefully you wonjt though] the race safe is meant to be best for the paramedics to take off of you whilst moving you as little as possible

Race safe - I wear mine all the time and don't even notice it now - also acts as an excellent sports bra lol

HI,
I have just got an airowear one which I love, doesn't make me too hot or restrict my movement and I don't think its too bulky. Level 3 too which was essential for me. Maybe try a few on (off to Badminton?!) and see what works for you, the different brands seem to have slightly different shapes so you may need to hunt a little to find just the one for you.
