Has anyone used a Racesafe Jockey BP?

I'm looking for something less bulky than the norm and I know they offer less protection but I don't jump and rarely go quicker than a medium canter. The problem is most BP's catch on the back of the saddle when I'm sitting up properly and it's not helping me improve my position at all. It's an expensive bit of kit to make a mistake with!

I found them long in the back and when i was on the saddle thing trying it out it caught on the back as i went from jumping position to a normal position.... I do have a fairly short back, but not weirdly short...

I have a racesafe body protector you can get them made to measure although i dont know where from. Im sure if you phone gibsons in newmarket they would help you they are very helpful. I find it much comfier as they are less bulky and more fitted. I would only ever have a racesafe body protector now

I've had my racesafe for years (6) and it's fab, really comfortable and fits nicely - the sides have ties so can let it in and out for fat/thin days (we all have them!!) I wear it every day :) I have a short back one and I bought it from www.treehouseonline.co.uk it took a few weeks to come but they were great I had 3 sent to me for sizing but only paid for 1 p&p.

Hi,
I'm pretty sure you can get segments taken out of the racesafe to make it fit right. I have an airowear, really comfy and I got it in a teenage fitting which is shorter in the back. I often find maids type sizeing super skinny, I'm not silly skinny and the airowear fits really well so it fits normal people too! Might be worth trying bodyprotectors that change in length with diff sizes too?

i have a Racesafe and it is fabulous.

if you tried one and it was catching the back of the saddle you don't have the right size!

i am over 5'9ft tall and only in a Small Adult size as i have long legs and a stumpy body!

The RS Jockey one looks LONGER in the back than my RS2000. If you phone up Treehouse they will take all your measurements over the phone and can supply a short back option. I am only 5 foot, and every BP i tried caught on the back of the saddle, but my Racesafe doesn't.

I love my RS2000, I would never have a different BP now.
