Where am I able to get a racing standard body protector whilst on a stupidly tight budget? My funds are super low and I got a helmet and protector to now replace. I believe I have a spare helmet laying around somewhere but mainly worried about where I can get a body protector from. I can't remember the body protector I had but I know it was a junior size

Thank you

I honestly dont think you'll find much difference in prices across the internet and tack shops at present.
Since the comp rules changed at the start of this year making it mandatory to have the newer standard for BE, RC, PC etc, even local xc courseware requesting new std round here for training sessions, the manufacturers have been overwhelmed and delivery times are still slow to retailers as they are selling so many.

Good luck x

Are you specifically looking for a level 2 lightweight one or is it just for exercising.

If the latter, then you can pick up the 2010 level 3 ones cheaply as they are no longer accepted for other disciplines.
.
Decathlon might be worth a look

I'm assuming you need a L3 2018 for the racing school/exercising? If you are small then have a look on Marketplace because there are usually lots of barely used ones which have been bought for children who have given up after a couple of lessons. I wouldn't normally recommend 2nd hand with no provenance but it's easy to spot the ones that are practically brand new, and I've seen them for very little money.

Topped Off I think the accident that caused you to need to replace yours and landed you in hospital was acknowledged as being due to somebody else not doing what they were told?

In that case, either that person or the College should to pay to replace your kit, not you.

Yeah I'll ask about. Really struggling to pay for it all - have to pay the consequences of someone else's actions emotionally, physically and possibly financially also time out of a proper career🤦‍♀️ I'll send em an email good idea

I wanted to look at other ways to get into work riding but I won't get far without equipment so I'm not sure it the college would be willing to help replace it if I was to find another option to where I'd like to be
