Hello
A friend of mine's horse has what looks to be a bog spavin on her nearside hock (well, my instructor pointed it out to her) and suggested using udder mint on it to reduce inflammation, along with rest/light work.
The udder mint has given her some kind of skin reaction (similar to dermatitis) so that's been crossed off the list.
I know nothing about these so please help - I believe she is getting the vet out but any lotions/potions to help and management advice and experiences?
Thanks xxx
