Bombproof and gorgeous

I make a point never to hand any money to puppy farmers or to dealers who pretend to be private sellers.

Try google.

google the phone numbers....

looks to be a dealer, also a puppy breeder too. Ive no experience with them so cant say either way good or bad, but like anything i'd take everything with a pinch of salt- im a cynic though...

He looks absolutely gorgeous and if his temperament is honestly described then I can see why they fell in love! Sorry, I know nothing about the owners but if they puppy farm that would ring alarm bells for me.

I have seen this advert(just what I would go for...too young for me too far..so wont pinch him) and agree, ignore the surroundings , I have known posh people sell rubbish horses for vast amounts due to some fantastic breeding only to find out the horse is a fruitcase.

All you can do is try the horse out for everything you want to do with it, road, hack jump with without company/catch from field/feet etc etc etc etc. If you go for vetting and have a gut instinct or doubt, get dope test done etc etc before parting with any money etc just in case???

But he looks a beauty and if you have the time to bring him on more...does the child ride in the photo? or just sit for effect??

Good luck ....my kind of horse!

Sorry me again

Let us know how you get on, I love learning from this forum as to experiences people have had....as I am looking too! Any good bits and pitfalls etc and why you made the decisions?

But good luck either way

I currently ride a horse who was hunted really young. Great horse but personally I doubt the longer-term health implications. 5 isn't that young but it is possible horse has either been rushed and/or only done all the things mentioned once to get them on the ad. Either way cautious as usual.

I've just bought one like this (see my avatar) and I too was suspicious and in fact I'm still waiting for something to go wrong!!! He was only 6 but had done loads and is so chilled he's almost horizontal...

Like others have said, trust your gut instinct - I did and so far so good. Sometimes things turn out and it's not always a horror story!!

Well my friends have bought him subject to a five stage vetting....she has asked my eldest daughter to have him on trial for a couple of weeks just to make sure before her daughter rides him...

I do agree the ones from Ireland do seem to have done an awful lot & I find it confusing. But if you can trial that should sort out any doubts, does look a nice horse.

Good luck hope it all goes well.
