Bone chip or not? Picture!

Freaking out as two vets said it is not a bone chip, but my current vet who did x-rays says it is bone chip. So I ask you guys, is it or not?

Personally, I don't think that it is. Also it is not in the cavity and so is unlikely to be causing a problem. I think it is just a normal part of the bone. But I'm not a vet.

Is the horse lame ? .. if yes has it been blocked ? .. if no, is this for a vetting ??

It is complicated. It is a dressage horse, being NQR for over a year. Had bad attitude, unwilling to work sometimes, got short strided on the right hind like two times, and first time when it happened his croup muscle got in spasm, right side only. We did ultra sound of his tendons and ligaments on that leg, all clear. And x-rayed both hocks and fetlocks. I have more x-rays, do you want me to share?

Oh and he always struggled with right lead, and was more balky when cantering to the right. He canters the left lead without problem, so I guess his right leg is not the problem one? It is confusing. Oh and, when vet nerve blocked his right leg from hoof to hock, he was lame. Blocked left one, he was sound. Confusing.

I do not think it's a bone chip as it mirrors exactly the edge of the bone on the other side of the leg,I think it's projectional.However on the inside of that leg higher up there does seem to be a change ,very slight, in the cortex of the bone which may indicate some thing.I have looked at thousands of xrays as a radiographer over the years.
