Mont was 24hrs. He went in on the Sunday night ready to be scanned on Monday. They left him until Tuesday, then realised they'd have to order him in a special drug for nerve blocks (see my earlier post) which arrived Wednesday, by which point he wasn't lame enough for the nerve blocks. They worked him Weds and Thurs hoping he'd be lame enough by Friday but he still wasn't so the yard staff had to continue to work him over the weekend. They eventually managed the diagnostics and treatment on the Monday but kept him overnight in case of a reaction and we picked him up on Tuesday.
He was there a long time but only 24hrs without being seen to. He was in a barn with 3 other horses who had also been bone scanned. They were given hay and water but nothing else. He's quite anti-social so sharing a space with 3 strange horses would have been a bit of an ordeal for him but he survived in one piece.
