Has anyone used these cooling bandages? I've been lent one to use on horse following some minor injury and bruising he picked up, and was told that the bandage after its 20mins might be warm as it draw heat from the leg - but my horse's leg is pretty warm once I take it off - is this normal?? Reading the 'bumpf' it says nothing about change of the leg temperature! Leg is cool before bandage goes on, except for area where slight swelling.
Thanks.

I have some but have never actually used them (think I won them). Instead, I use the ice cube bags you buy at the supermarket, they mould round the leg really well and just put a stable bandage on top. 20 minutes is the optimum cooling time though, so whatever you use don't leave it on any longer than that :)
