Booby traps in Saddleworth - be careful

Hi

Just seen on BBC North West. A number of booby traps have been set around Dovestones - they think to target cyclists (but could also affect horse riders). Cords have been tried across the paths/tracks and loose boulders have been placed where they could easily fall.

Police are investigating.

Anyone riding out there (horse or bike) please be careful!

Awful that anyone would do this!
 
Wow, that's bad news! What on earth would persuade someone to deliberately do this - surely the consequences are self evident!

I'm originally a Saddleworth lad and Dovestones was always a nice place to enjoy a bit of fresh air, there's always someone who'll spoil things isn't there! :mad:
