My rescue / rehomed pony arrived at the weekend. He’s a lovely almost 4-year-old that the rescue centre have done loads with. He’s really well handled and has been lunged and long-reined. He was just supposed to be a companion for my horse after we lost OH’s horse a few weeks ago but I think he’s so lovely that it would be a shame not to have him backed at some point. (RSPCA are aware of this). In the meantime, once he’s fully settled, I’d like to keep him occupied and continue with his basic education. I love a good book for ideas. Does anyone have any recommendations for any good ones?
