Hi,
Not really a Stable Yard question but i was wondering if anyone can let me know some good books that can help me with my 14 month old.
I want learn about everything from bitting, when to start training, feeding etc.
All the books i've seen are either from birth to weaning or breaking in. But i want help with the in between bit!!
Thanks

There's so many good books out there hun. It depends what approach you want to take. I'd recommend anything by Richard Maxwell, Kelly Marks, Michael Peace, Monty Roberts as good common sense that works with the horse to produce a happy balanced youngster that understands everything that is asked of him. I'd get a sheet of paper and a pen and google Amazon or BHS websites and get hunting. Read reviews where possible. If you can narrow it down to 2 or 3, why not come back and post a question about Forum member's experience of those books? I think your question is too general at the moment hun. Good luck x
