however i am loveing the fact i know my horse is fed, watered and being lunged in the indoor school for me today.

pointless post be just wanted to say how much i love my yard and how great the staff are:):):)

lovely to know mines ok too. I moved yards about two months ago and knowing she's safe and sound is priceless. She lives out 24/7 but I know she has hay, lots of grass (under the snow), feed once a day and any rug changes done for me, it is brill!

Mmm. Well I had a 50 min walk up to the yard I rent this morning to feed and chuck my 2 out. Then spent the next couple of hours dethawing tap and pushing wheel barrow of muck through 6 ft snow drifts, then brought them back in from field to their stables and gave them a warm feed and steamed hay. I then trudged home and warmed up for a few hours. Then I trudged back up there with dog at 4 oclock and re-mucked out, rethawed the tap, fed, watered re-rugged and re-hayed. It is a lot of work, but I do feel a certain amount of satisfaction knowing my horses have had a leg stretch (albeit in places in the field it came up to my 16.2's belly!) and are now in the warm with lots of hay to munch on. I do hope this weather doesn't go on for too much longer tho!!
