so 7 months ago i brought a lovely TB
but he hasnt been jumping right since ive had him so we've been trying to figure out why as hes an ex hurdler so can certainly jump.... anyway long story short turned out it was an incorrectly fitting saddle that was restricting his movement in his shoulders thus cant jump!!!
so simples..... get a new saddle that actually fits! that was a month ago.... hes been a field ornament since then rode him like twice, lunged him a little but hes basically done nothing!
so friday is the D-day when said saddler is due to arrive with a van full of presents one of which will hopefully fit!
right???
er no cuz pea head brian of a pony has decided he would much rather be a stable ornament now instead of a field ornamnet and is supporting a lovely FAT leg
annoyed is not the word!!!
i took him for a walk yesterday and he seemed fine, farrier out today and he mentioned leg seemed a little puffy to which i agreed and no before you lot jump to anything theres absolutly no heat in the foot so nothing to do with the farrier!
theres minimal and i mean minimal heat in his joint and the leg is HUUUUUGGGGEEEEEEE but absolutly no lameness
so who thinks i should turn said pony into porcelin and put him on my windowsill?????????
he clearly doesnt want be the competition horse i know he can be:
