Well, if you remember my Skoda thread recently-my van rather spectacularly died this week and I had to go and find a car quickly. given the amount of miles I do I decided to go for very nearly new (which ruled out the Octavia on my budget) and have bought a Dacia Logan. Its not pretty but by crikey has it got lots of space in it and I've never had a car this new before so its all very exciting (no MOTs for two years, no road tax! modern life eh :D) and I'm looking forward to commute being more civilised.

Anyway, I am pretty sure my current double dog crate will be a tad wide given its shape so looking at alternatives. the dogs are kept separately while in the car. My budget will not stretch to TransK9 or Barjo kits so no point in even looking.

I am thinking about the following: travall dog guard and divider. either on own or in conjunction with a boot buddy liner and tailgate guard (I need to find out it they can be used together). Alternatively there is a double wire crate that would fit which I might use with a boot liner. I am erring towards a crate because Fitz has a track record for mouthing what he shouldn't (although its always been his bedding and he's not actually done it for over a year). A crate appeals also as I can just take it in or out-but the boot buddy looks great for containing hair and water. Anyone used any of these or have any bright ideas please?

I have a boot buddy, used them for years, brilliant. May even have a spare from when I changed to an Octavia from a Yeti or maybe another car. I will look.
I use a Travall dog guard, boot buddy and tailgate guard. The tailgate guard is so I can leave the boot open at Horse Trials or even outside our arena while working horses. I don’t separate my dogs from each other though.

I have a Travall with divider in and a heavyrubber mat over the Kia supplied boot liner no problem (In a Niro PHEV) All works together fine. I have a Lintran for the same car but rarely use it
