What are your memories of Pony Camp???!!

A post I responded to reminded me of my days at Stafford County Show Ground.... I was really naughty..

. in the blue team I think and we had a competition for the week to see who could keep the cleanest "tack room" (we each had a stable with our tack etc in it). Well one eve our team decided to put poo over the door of another team because we thought they were "snobs"!!

ummm... and we were yobs!!!

Needless to say we had to own up and did not win. Also I remember my pony nibbling my foot and everyone thought it was very cute, until she got her mouth stuck in my stirrup iron, went up and over and broke the tree of the saddle...!! Luckily my parents had the local tack shop in Stafford so I got a new saddle the next day... spoilt bratt!!!

I loved camp. We were naughty one girl had a spare bridle so she didnt have to clean the one she was using daily. But she got found out and it went into the sheep dip.

We did smoking down in the woods so parents wouldn't see and midnight feasts. I dont ever remember it raining. Dad put bunk beds in the trailer and wrote to the caravan club asking if he could join.

Funnily enough they said no.

Running round in the middle of the night pulling the tent pegs out of everyones tent.Putting BIG spiders in sleeping bags,Water fights,Dunking in the water complex,Swapping ponies around in the night.We completely re-arranged the stabling and there wasent a single pony that was in her/his own allocated stable.
