Boot recommendation for rear legs (Pastern Injury)

Hi,

Please see some photos of Red's injury. One of when it happened on Thursday morning and one of this morning, it seems to be healing ok.

Due to the location i don't think its a kick, I suspect he has stepped on himself during a playabout in the field. He is unshod on the backs.

He has stepped on himself in the past but this is the worst injury to date, could anyone recommend a type of brushing boot that comes down the pastern to try and prevent this again?

Or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

All the brushing boots i've been looking at didnt come long enough, or it was pastern wraps that went under over reach boots but not really suitable for field use on thier own.
