Can anyone recommend some hard shell boots for jumping that are quite short but will go around a horse sized cannon...

Skylla gets rubbed by most boots I've tried on her as she has quite pronounced ergots, which most boots seem to end up interfering with. I've so far just stopped using hard boots on her and just used either soft boots or bandages if required, but we're going to start jumping more and I want to get her something that will protect her legs.

Do you think pony sized boots will go around her legs (I need to measure how much bone she has I guess)?

Link doesn't work

I had problems finding tendon boots for Millie for similar reasons - settled on these which are very adjustable and forgiving on the fit but have a hard tendon guard. They have multiple sizes, Millie wore cob size. I know fleece lining is highly unfashionable these days but i really never had a problem with it, the NEW stuff seems different to your average faux fur type. https://newequinewear.co.uk/products/open-front-fleece-tendon-boots

I was going to say a small NEW closed fronted boot fits F, the edges just meet lol. I thought they do some in medium wides too but maybe not the hard ones?!

I really like the eskadron pro safe, my mare sounds quite similar shaped to yours and she loved these. I am not sure if they are BS legal, sure someone would know https://www.amirashop.co.uk/acatalo...Vor_tCh17oA1qEAQYAyABEgJ8-PD_BwE#.XSNBouj0lPY

We are not quite at the BS stage yet :D:p, but they look good and do say they are shaped around the problem area!

Thank you, will investigate their sizing as they do have good reviews.

Thanks all :)
